Each year, the contributions made by outside donors help to provide over 57,000 meals to hundreds of homebound individuals. This insures that these individuals are receiving proper nutrition served with a smiling face six days a week. You can help to keep these individuals independent and happy by making a donation to Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.

March 1, 2002	-	Annual Benefit Dinner at the Ypsilanti Marriot We have a cure for the winter blues.Join your friends and neighbors for a delicious buffet dinner at the Marriott. Local celebrities are the wait staff.They compete for tips, which go to Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.It ’s a fun,tasty way to contribute to a worthy cause.
April 7, 2002	-	Sunday at Haab ’s Today is a good day to gather the family and go to Haab ’s for dinner.Haab ’s is contributing 10%of the day ’s proceeds to help us provide meals for the homebound.
June 8, 2002	-	Annual Golf Outing at Hickory Woods Our 18-hole scramble draws more golfers every year. Duffers and scratch golfers are all welcome.The day includes lunch,contests,and prizes.If you don ’t play golf, you can participate by sponsoring a hole or contributing prizes.Join us for a terrific day of fun!
September-November, 2002	-	United Way Campaign 29%of our budget comes from the United Way,so we ask you to please give generously.One of our board members would be happy to speak at your workplace about United Way and Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.
December 9, 2002 1-6 pm	-	5th Annual Holiday Homes Tour of Ypsilanti This year ’s tour will take us to three homes,two of Ypsilanti ’s historic mansions,and the Ypsilanti Presbyterian Chur h.The Hutchinson Mansion,headquarters of High/Scope Foundation,is the showcase home. Enjoy this unique opportunity to see these beautiful homes and local landmarks,dressed-up for the holidays. Tickets may be pur hased in advance at Quinn ’s Essentials, Me &My Sister ’s,and Haab ’s in Ypsilanti;Leidy ’s,and Downtown Home and Garden in Ann Arbor;Calico Cat in Saline.The advance pur hase price is $10.00.Ti kets may also be pur hased the day of the event at the Ladies ’ Literary Club in Ypsilanti for $13.00.All proceeds benefit Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.
